The Allied Health concentration is part of the Exercise and Sport Science major. The concentration is designed to prepare students for advancement to graduate degrees in professional programs in Exercise Science, Applied and Clinical Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant programs.

In addition, a grade of C or better must be attained in all required and elective courses in the exercise science major. Kinesiology Major. APU's kinesiology major equips students for a variety of careers in these areas. This program offers the following areas of study: Health Professions and Applied Exercise Science. Liberal Studies Major• At least: 60 hours at a four-year institution; 30 hours completed at OSU; 15 of the final 30 or 50% of the upper-division hours in the major field completed at OSU. • Limit of: one-half of major course requirements as transfer work; one-fourth of hours earned by correspondence; 8 transfer correspondence hours.
